In Spring, the buds of trees such as oak, cottonwood & aspen are abundant searching for the sun.

By summer they are in full bloom providing shade for the hiker or nature lover.
Fall at Sierra Bonita Autumn leaves offer a visual delight. Late September & early October are filled with the gold, red & rust colors of fall.

Next, winter snow pulls a blanket over everything with only the ponderosa & blue spruce in full color.

Sierra Bonita is heaven for those who enjoy clean air, long walks, unspoiled beauty, birds singing, fish jumping & quiet time with family or friends.

Sierra Bonita means "beautiful mountains".

Our wildlife consists of the native black bear, raccoons, squirrels, silver fox, elk, deer, & a variety of birds.

Native German Brown & Rainbow Trout are found in our streams & ponds.
